New artwork by Durham University students will go on display at Palace Green Library when the Student Art Prize 2025/26: EXTRACTION exhibition opens in May.
The free exhibition runs from 2 May to 21 November 2026, with visitors able to view the shortlisted artworks at the Courtyard Gallery between 10am and 5pm. The gallery is at Palace Green Library, Durham, DH1 3RN.
Theme and visitor information
Now in its seventh year, the Student Art Prize explores the theme of “EXTRACTION”. Visitors can also vote for their preferred work in the People’s Vote.
